This year, our calendar is dedicated to Devin Orion Antaya Rasmussen, and all 2SLGBTQIA+ youth who search for belonging in rural communities.
Devin was a talented artist who loved the natural world and all the lightness and darkness it contains. He died in a car accident on November 6th, 2024 at 26 years old. As we work to both create artwork and a culture of belonging, we remember him.
All proceeds of the calendar will go to Nelson Pride, a local organization which works to create safer spaces to support, celebrate, and create awareness for the 2SLGBTQIA+ communities (Two Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual+) through a yearly celebration of Pride, regular events, and education for the public in the area colonially known as Nelson, BC. www.nelsonpride.ca
